AHHH. a lot of stuff going on right now. i’m just going to run down the list for now, i’ll annotate this later!

-pre-order for the upcoming split 7″ between SPRAYNARD and the UK’s BREAK THE HABIT is up now through SALBY RECORDS. i have heard both sides and every song is awesome. you get a tape copy with it, which is cool, because then you have two ways that you still can’t put it on your computer. NICE! if you’ve already pre-ordered the LP, i am sure that we can work out a way so that you don’t have to pay for shipping on both.

-SPRAYNARD LP should be shipping pretty soon. NICE! still some pre-orders left if you want to get on that HOT PINK vinyl.

-andrew, who has been part of runner up since day one, has started a new label, HYDROGEN MAN RECORDS. expect lots of nasty political hardcore. NICE!

-DAVE HOUSE has started a new band called pacer with pavey. the two last played together in THE STEAL. i haven’t heard them yet, but i can only imagine that it will be incredible. their first show is with SHOOK ONES, which leads me to my next point…

-…SHOOK ONES are currently on a europe/UK tour. get on that! NICE!

-END OF A YEAR are going on a US tour in may. not for a while, but still NICE.

-BEARINGS is working on a new EP or LP. are we putting that out? i don’t know! no one has asked! NICE!

-HIGHTIDE HOTEL is working on a new LP. same story as above! NICE!

-BY SURPRISE is working on a new LP. same story as above! NICE!

-bands continue to be confirmed for the upcoming compilation LP to benefit the KRISTIN BROOKS HOPE CENTER. the lineup so far is looking amazing. can’t wait to get this out. will divulge more information on that in a little bit!

compilation to beneit national hopeline network (1800-SUICIDE)

this year we will be releasing a compilation LP to benefit the kristin brooks hope center (hopeline.com), the organization behind crisis resources such as the national hopeline network (1800-SUICIDE). it should go without saying that such resources are of critical importance in a world that is becoming increasingly stressful, especially for young people. donations play a crucial role in funding the KBHC, so i thought this would be a cool way to help through which everyone wins!

we’ll announce the lineup and details for the 12″ as they get worked out.

HEAR YE! HEAR YE! Ok, I have been getting a million e-mails about this, but I am here to say that PRE-ORDER FOR THE NEW SPRAYNARD LP IS UP! I know I usually put out more notice than this, but here it is. Pre-ordering gets you the pre-order-only HOT PINK colored vinyl, limited to 90. So if that’s your thing, get on it so you don’t have to pay eBay prices!! I think these might go kind of fast, but I’m not sure. Still, it’s better to be safe than sorry if you are trying to get one.
